HOW TO CREATE A TAILWIND CONCENTRATE

Are you looking for the best way to fuel your adventures? At Tailwind, we've got you covered with some easy-to-follow instructions. For starters, we recommend mixing 1 stick pack (or 2 scoops) of Endurance Fuel with 500ml of water per hour of exercise. So, if you're planning on a 4-hour workout, you'll need 4 stick packs (or 8 scoops) mixed with 2 litres of water.

If you're looking for something more concentrated to carry around (aka a great way to carry for a marathon), you can make a gel-like Endurance Fuel concentrate. To do this, calculate your total carb/caloric needs and mix it with just enough water to make it viscous. Remember to mark your bottle according to your total race time and aim to consume the appropriate ratio of water to Tailwind. We recommend 500ml of water per every two scoops of Endurance Fuel.

But hold up, don't forget to drink extra water! Your body needs about 250ml of water for every scoop of Endurance Fuel to process it properly. So, make sure to hydrate properly to avoid any stomach issues.

We know that everyone's bodies are different, and you should listen to yours. If you're feeling low on energy or hungry, increase your calorie intake. If you're feeling bloated, you can decrease it a bit. Remember to practice your fuelling strategy during long training sessions to ensure you've got it down pat before race day.

We're always here to help, so don't hesitate to shoot us an email at supportcrew@tailwindnutrition.co.uk if you have any questions. And, as always, consult your physician for medical advice. Happy Fuelling!
